Content Marketing Strategy

Stimulating Creativity and Passion with your Content Marketing Strategy

I am a big fan of blogging obviously.

I think it is one of the best ways to get the bang for your buck, especially long term. A blog is going to continue to get more exposure over time, providing you are coming up with fresh content that is unique and engaging.

This fresh content will help you in your conversations with people too.

Content will drive your passion, but how do you keep coming up with that creative content?

Being creative is often times easier said than done.

Sometimes we are in a creative mode, and sometimes we aren’t.

Always be ready to write down ideas

If you want to keep your creative juices flowing when you sit down to write content, keep them flowing throughout your day. Sometimes we get ideas on a whim, and if we don’t take the time to write those ideas down, or keep notes, we might not remember.

Always be thinking creatively and the minute you get an idea, write a note about it.

Keep a swipe file of cool advertisements you see, or things that get your creative juices flowing.

You will be surprised how much more you remember, when you write down your thoughts throughout the day. This step alone is enough to keep your creative juices going. And it reemphasizes the idea. Whenever you take the time to write something down, or think about it in the moment, it becomes that much more a part of your overall awareness.

Always be Reading

Reading stimulates creativity.

It gives you ideas, and sometimes it helps us see things beyond our own short sighted point of view.

Sometimes it even helps to read things you normally wouldn’t.

Sometimes you have to change the vibration and the flow of energy.

An easy way to do this is take in content that you normally would not look at.

Look at different things and change your routine up. Examine different writing styles and perspectives.

Look at what other people in your industry are saying. What is your competition saying?

Do all of the research you can do, and read everything you can get your hands on. If you read, and pay attention to what you read, you will never lose that creative flow.

Do something unrelated

One of the best ways to get your creative juices flowing if you hit a wall, is to do something different.

Walk away for a little while. Get outside and do some yard work. Walk around the grocery store. Unplug and look for insight in the sights and sounds around you.

Putting yourself under pressure can definitely put a stop to creative energy.

Creativity needs to breathe. It needs to flow naturally.

This means you need to set yourself free of the feeling of deadlines.

If you hit a wall, go do something else instead of sitting there in front of your computer trying to come up with something.

Make a list of 100 random things

This is something that works for me every time.

Open up a word document, or a notepad and just start writing.

Keep writing until you have written down 100 thoughts.

Here I go.

I see green grass.

The freeway is busy today.

I hope I have time to make it happen.

I wonder what it would be like to go skydiving.

I am sure Albert Einstein was smart.

These are just random thoughts, but inside the randomness, there are numerous content ideas.

Let’s look at the first one.

“I see green grass.”

Let’s think about light and color for instance.

If I see something green, it is green because it the light being reflected is in that part of the spectrum, but sometimes it is difficult to distinguish color.

I can continue to break down this thought.

This one sentence could provide articles worth of content.

Look at the second one.

Time management is always an important topic to write about.

Having hope is also a fun and important topic.

I can combine these two thoughts or break it down even further.

The point is that randomness can definitely stimulate creativity.

Be random in your thought process and don’t be afraid to explore those random ideas deeper.

Look at the last one.

Albert Einstein has many different quotes.

Each of those quotes have a lot of useful content that you can write about.

Creativity can come from anywhere.

You simply have to look for it, and wait on it.

Trust yourself to come up with the right content and let it flow

Sometimes just writing your thoughts down and letting them flow will give you the best content.

The key is to always be writing and thinking and capturing those thoughts.

Often times you can use a voice recorder applications to transcribe your thoughts later.

Be willing to let yourself go with the content without putting too much thought into it.

You know exactly what you need to say on a subconscious level.

Sometimes the conscious mind and our own self limiting beliefs can get in the way.

If you let yourself go and don’t think about it, you can always come back and edit your thoughts.

Creativity is one of the most important things you must have if you want to be successful and set yourself apart from the crowd.

Be prepared to showcase your own way of thinking, and know that you are truly the master of your destiny.

Learn to visualize the outcome of your content

Whenever you are writing content, be specific with it. While you want to let your creative juices flow, you also want to have a reason for that particular piece of content. Every piece of content you write needs to have real take away value, so the question is this. What exactly do you want the piece of content you are about to publish, to do for your business. What do you want the results of that content to be.

What group of people or demographic is going to take action because of that content? What exact action are they going to take.

The more specific you are about visualizing the result of the content you are writing, the better that content will be, and the better it will convert.

You have to know what your content is going to accomplish, or there isn’t any direction in it.

You have to exchange the right ideas with your prospect by creating value, and understanding your call to action.

Love your product

This is the most important thing you can do in your content marketing strategy.

You MUST love and be passionate about your product. The more you know about it, the more passionate you are going to be. Education is key. Educate yourself beyond the information on your company website. Break down all of the features, benefits, and overall advantages to your product, and get passionate about telling others.

Writing about a subject you actually know about is one of the simplest ways to stimulate creativity.

There are a billion different ways you can write about the same thing.

You can write about the same thing in a billion different ways.

Just think about all of the different ways you can express yourself.

The English language gives us a plethora of ways that we can respond to any circumstance. Self expression is the key.

Once you know about something, you can write about it forever.

That is what you will do.

Write about it one way, and then stimulate your creative juices to express it in another way.

Even if you have two different articles talking about the same thing, if they are spoken from different points of view, or written for a particular point of view, they are effective pieces of content.

Thanks for reading this article. My name is Chris Curtis and I am a Freedom Consultant. That is a name that I came up with to share what I do. I help people save money on the bills that they are already paying each month. I use content like this to generate interest in my business. If you are interested in saving hundreds of dollars a month on the bills you already pay, or you would like to work with me helping other people save money, check this out.

Become Marketing

Becoming the Marketing Material for your Business

There are all kinds of resources and materials you could use to make people aware of what you have. All of the standard marketing tools are great and all, but nothing compares to you.

If you have something to offer people, you must know how to make that offer without being intrusive or annoying. You need to listen to your people and know when the right time is.

You will find as you get used to building relationships of trust through marketing, that people are more than willing to give you opportunities to educate them about what you have to offer.

This is your purpose as a consultant.

You are in this business to share a product.

That is the reason for the business.

If you want to share the product effectively, you must know the product inside and out.

You need to listen to what people are saying in the midst of conversations.

The key to relationship marketing is the relationship.

If you are an effective marketer, there isn’t the need to bring your product up all the time.

You are in the education business, and you are always happy to educate people on things related to what you have to offer, but you are never the pushy salesman.

Being the pushy salesman will get you nowhere.

If every time people see you, they know you are going to start pitching your thing, they aren’t going to want to see you anymore.

On the other hand, if you are a plethora of knowledge, and you are always adding value and insight to the conversation, you can’t go wrong.

Marketing is the study and management of exchange relationships.

An exchange relationship isn’t just about exchanging money. It is exchanging ideas.

If you are building a relationship through marketing, you are building it based on ideas.

If you have a lot of knowledge about subjects related to the products you have to offer, you are going to build trust by exchanging the right information at the right time.

If you want to be successful in this industry, you must learn to take your education seriously.

Marketing is defined by the American Marketing Association as “the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large”.

In order for your customers to recognize the value, they have to see it for themselves.

If you are in a conversation about a subject related to your product, throw out the facts. Share the stats. Show off what you know. And then after you educate them through the exchange of ideas, you let them know in passing, you have a product that can help them get what they want.

You make them want it by providing the right information and showing that you are an authority on the subject. You know a lot more than they do.

From a sales process engineering perspective, marketing is “a set of processes that are interconnected and interdependent with other functions of a business aimed at achieving customer interest and satisfaction”

You have to have a process in place.

You need to listen, know what you are talking about, be able to educate and tell your prospects about what you have in a seamless way. The more educated you are, the more in the know you are.

This comes down to taking time out to learn new things.

Learn all of the different ways your product is connected to the conversations you have, and understand your product so well, that it flows naturally into whatever you are talking about.

Marketing practice tended to be seen as a creative industry in the past, which included advertising, distribution and selling. However, because the academic study of marketing makes extensive use of social sciences, psychology, sociology, mathematics, economics, anthropology and neuroscience, the profession is now widely recognized as a science, allowing numerous universities to offer Master-of-Science (MSc) programs.

Learn a little bit about Sociology and Psychology. Learn about the economics of marketing. Become educated about every subject related to your product. That includes how you get the word out about it.

These days, big money is going into AI.

AI is better than people because it follows direct pathways to make the process run as efficiently as possible.

It learns from its mistakes and immediately applies that knowledge to all future processes. As a result, it becomes very efficient.

You and I might not be able to break the variables down like AI can, but we can align our brain in such a way, so that we can be a lot more productive.

Develop a program mindset around your process.

If you have a bug, remove it.

If what you do doesn’t work after a while, change it up a little.

One small part of the process can make all the difference in the world.

Here is what you need to remember.

You caught the vision of what your company has to offer, or you wouldn’t have joined.

This means other people can see it the same way.

You just have to transfer that knowledge in a way that doesn’t intimidate or alienate.

You become the perfect marketing brochure.

Let people know what you have to offer by offering your expertise.

Always provide useful insight in every conversation and you will have no problem growing your business.

Developing a Process for your Relationship Marketing Business

Understanding the Process of Growing Your Business

My favorite part of the entire journey in relationship marketing is creating and redefining the process to make it better. The process is the one thing that is vital to making sure your organization has and continues to experience growth. The time we spend on the process can mean the difference between success and failure, so it is important you see it through to the end.

This is where most people throw in the towel and give up. Creating the process requires thought and planning. It requires you see the big picture and understand how you are going to move your prospects through that structure.

The purchase funnel, or purchasing funnel, is a consumer focused marketing model which illustrates the theoretical customer journey towards the purchase of a good or service.

In 1898, E. St. Elmo Lewis developed a model which mapped a theoretical customer journey from the moment a brand or product attracted consumer attention to the point of action or purchase. St. Elmo Lewis’ idea is often referred to as the AIDA-model, an acronym which stands for Awareness, Interest, Desire, and Action. This staged process is summarized below:

Awareness – the customer is aware of the existence of a product or service

Interest – actively expressing an interest in a product group

Desire – aspiring to a particular brand or product

Action – taking the next step towards purchasing the chosen product
The Purchase Funnel is also often referred to as the “customer funnel”, “marketing funnel”, “sales funnel” or “conversion funnel”. The association of the funnel model with the AIDA concept was first proposed in Bond Salesmanship by William W. Townsend in 1924.
This early model has been modified by marketing consultants and academics to cater to the modern customer and is now referred to in marketing as the purchase funnel or buying funnel. Many different business-to-consumer purchase models exist in marketing today, but it is generally accepted that the modern business-to-business purchase funnel has more stages, considers repurchase intent and takes into account new technologies and changes in consumer purchase behavior. As a model, the buying funnel has been validated in a variety of domains, including searching, keyword advertising, and lead generation but also modified to include previously unconsidered steps and metrics such as outbound sales and internet impressions. and Sales Funnel Stages
The purchase funnel concept is used in marketing to guide promotional campaigns targeting different stages of the customer journey, and also as a basis for customer relationship management and lead management campaigns.

What is the process for a successful relationship marketing business?

Discover your product…

The product is the driving force behind your business.

When you promote the product thru the exchange of information with people, you are building a relationship of trust. Why would you be telling them to purchase something that you yourself know nothing about?

This is one of the most vital steps in developing a process.

Here what I recommend.

Because you are developing a process for your team, write down all of the information you think is important when educating yourself. Think about how the product can help people by providing them with what they want. Think about all of the different part of the product, or pieces of the puzzle. Do you understand how all of those pieces fit together?

Do you know how to align those pieces in a conversation so that when you are educating your relationship prospect in the exchange of ideas, you can make it natural and unforced? This kind of confidence is a must if you want to build your relationship of trust.

When people trust you, they are more willing to try what you have to offer.

The things your write down are important because you are designing a process, not only for yourself, but for the people who end up joining your team. The successful process you are developing for you, is something you can teach your team to build upon.

Don’t reinvent the wheel

It is important when determining a process not to steer away from the process that has been put in place by the company. The company is going to provide you with a process that educates your prospects, customers and team. Part of your process needs to be plugging your people into the process of the company. The more resources and training you provide your team with, and the simpler the process is to learn, the better your results will be.

When learning about your products and picking out the important points, these are things you are going to be able to use in team training. They are points that you are going to raise about the advantages of the product from your perspective. You should be so educated about your product that you can’t help but be passionate about it. The more we know about something, the more confident we are when it comes to explaining our experience to other people. The more you know, the more of an expert you are.

What are some topics related to the product or service that you are selling?

This is an important question because it helps define your script. Yes, you should have a script or a pre-planned way to tell someone about what you are offering, but make it natural. Don’t jump right into it. Be genuine, and interested in what your friend is saying. We are building relationships through marketing, and that is not just about the end result. The more you listen, the more you will understand what they want. When you understand what they want, you can present the product in such a way that will fulfill that want.

You can also use what someone wants to drive the conversation forward.

Learning the topics related to your product will make it easy to steer a conversation in that direction. If your friend is talking about someone in their family being sick, and you have a health product, you are in the midst of an opportunity. If you sell an herbal supplement, ask them a question, like “have you ever heard of something called elderberry”? Then you can completely educate your customer about it before you even let them know you have access to a product containing it. By the time you are finished fulfilling the need, you have them wanting what you have.

It doesn’t matter what product you are selling, part of the process needs to be understanding the topics related to the product or service. The more lines you can connect from general conversation to what you have makes it seem as though you are jumping in fulfilling a wish for exactly what they are looking for.

Have a simple process to deliver what they want ASAP

Once someone determines they want what you have, you need to get them what they want as quickly as possible. Always have your phone or tablet handy. Again, you want to make it natural. Say “Hold on, you know what, I can actually order that right now” or you could just have the product on hand. Always have paper applications handy if that is something your company allows, but always have a way for them to order the product right away.

If they say no, not right now, you need to have a card to hand them. If you don’t have business cards, you aren’t serious about growing your business. If the website is where they go to sign up, make that the most visible part of the card. Make it a haste. What I mean by that is dwell on the importance of you being able to help them get what they have already said they wanted. You must have enough knowledge to know that not giving them every opportunity to get what they want is doing them a disservice.

If they don’t buy, continue to listen, but don’t be pushy

Part of your process needs to be following up. You don’t follow up by continuing to remind them about that product. Just follow up to see how they are doing. They will bring the product up. Tell them you are concerned and just wanted to know how everything way. Remember, we are giving the example of a sick family member. Follow up based on the original context of the exchange of information that brought up the need and later desire for what you have. Remind them of why they wanted it in the first place. Don’t say it that way, but follow up. The follow up will remind them of everything they need to know.

If you learn to be natural throughout the process, you will be a lot more successful.

Patience must be a part of the process

Always be patient and don’t be in too much of a hurry. We are on a long term journey of building relationships while we grow our business. This is something that takes time. Being in a hurry will inhibit the process. Think about the break down of the process and look at where it works against itself. Always be paying attention to the details of the process that can be changed or made better.

Replicate the process

Once you have a process in place that works, you want to take all of that information and structure it in such a way that you can pass it on to your team members. If you have figured out a good process to get people excited about the product, getting them excited about the business requires educating them in the same way you educated yourself.

This is also a vital part of the overall process.

The key is having a method that people can follow. Companies are great at compiling information, but it is the consultants responsibility to structure that education and follow up in such a way that results in sales and the growth of the business.

Today I want to invite you to join a team that already has a proven process in place. You follow the simple process that we have laid out, and teach your team to do the same thing. This is a simple business with a unique and innovative model.

Do You Remember Me? Building Your Real COntact List From Scratch

Do you have a list of contacts?

Of course you do, inside of your cell phone. But do you even remember who half of those people are?

If you have your phone integrated into Facebook or another Social Network, you probably don’t know a large percentage of people on your contact list.

Today I want to talk about building your business using your list of contacts, and how to grow a list of contacts that is interested in what you have to offer.

In marketing, lead generation is the initiation of consumer interest or enquiry into products or services of a business. Leads can be created for purposes such as list building, e-newsletter list acquisition or for sales leads. The methods for generating leads typically fall under the umbrella of advertising, but may also include non-paid sources such as organic search engine results or referrals from existing customers.

Leads may come from various sources or activities, for example, digitally via the Internet, through personal referrals, through telephone calls either by the company or telemarketers, through advertisements, and events. A 2015 study found that 89% of respondents cited email as the most-used channel for generating leads, followed by content marketing, search engine, and finally events. A study from 2014 found that direct traffic, search engines, and web referrals were the three most popular online channels for lead generation, accounting for 93% of leads.

Lead generation is often paired with lead management to move leads through the purchase funnel. This combination of activities is referred to as pipeline marketing.

A lead is usually allotted to an individual to follow up on. Once the individual reviews and qualifies it to have potential business, the lead gets converted to an opportunity for a business. The opportunity then has to undergo multiple sales stages before the deal is won.

This is pretty complicated, right?

To generate leads, you have to go thru an entire process, and then to turn those leads into sales, you have to go thru another process. Hearing things like this may make you never want to get involved in the relationship marketing business.

The truth is, when you are developing solid relationships with people, the process is you. You have to learn what the products are, and how to explain all of the advantages, but you don’t have to have a complex, automated sales system to close the deal. You just need a memory.

You and I as humans were meant to have relationships. When it comes to building a business however, you need a way to manage those relationships. You need a way to engage with everyone you have a relationship with at the appropriate time, so you definitely do need a system.

The system must be unique to you and your personality and schedule. But you need to have a system. The first thing you need to do is remove the clutter from your contact list. If you don’t know who someone is because your Social Media is integrated into your phone, either remove that contact OR GET TO KNOW THEM. Reach out to them and see if they respond, if they don’t you can remove them from your contact list. You might as well remove them from your friends list or follow list as well.

Stay in touch with the people on your contact list. This is why you need to have a system. You need to be able to keep track of who you are staying in touch with, and who you need to let go. If someone doesn’t for whatever reason want to stay in touch with you, there is no reason to have them in your contacts. Your contact list needs to be something you go thru frequently, not to sell, but to exchange thoughts, conversation and ideas.

Build your relationships thru marketing.

Listen to people and let the conversation and exchange lead you to the end result.

If you are looking for hands down, the best Relationship Marketing business out there these days, look at this.

Relationship Marketing

Relationship Marketing – Build a Business Using Person to Person Strategy

Relationship marketing is one of the best ways to earn some extra money.

My name is Chris, and I am a Financial Freedom Consultant, here to point you in the right direction when it comes to making money in the best side gig on Earth.

Relationship marketing is not about pushing your friends and family into joining your business. A lot of people who get involved in relationship marketing try to take that approach, but it isn’t really a wise approach, and it won’t really yield any results.

Marketing is the study and management of exchange relationships. Marketing is the business process of creating relationships with and satisfying customers. With its focus on the customer, marketing is one of the primary components of business management.

Let’s evaluate the definition of marketing and explore why it is so vital to have a real understanding of what marketing is.

Marketing is about exchanging ideas. It is about providing valuable information and insight into whatever it is that you are selling. It is also about the conversation of dialog leading up to that transaction. Don’t think of marketing as trying to sell your product to people you have a relationship with. Look at marketing as a way to build that relationship by trading valuable information. Don’t use every conversation to promote your business. Be strategic about it. Let them make recommendations to you, and when recommending the product, do it in such a way as to educate.

There are still a lot of professionals in the industry who tell you to immediately go out and talk to everyone you know. This is because it increases your chances of talking to anyone at all. If you sit on the sidelines you will never build your business.

I recommend the more strategic, long term approach because you are building stability in your organization and developing people who have the right mindset just like you. The massive action you take needs to be getting as much information as you can, so you can communicate with your prospects effectively about the products you have to offer them.

Learn to listen to your prospects and again use marketing, or the exchange of ideas with your prospect to steer the conversation. Listen for those moments in the conversation that will allow you to bring up your products, or even your opportunity if that is the mindset. Part of this is learning to respond to different personality types in different ways.

Learning this is going to expand your horizons. You are going to meet a lot of new people and have a lot of fun.

I realize that I might sound like a Debbie downer. I am not saying that you can’t come into this and recoup your money in less than 30 days, but that doesn’t happen for most people. However, those who learn the process, and stick to it, can literally make their financial dreams their life. And that is the truth. It really is that simple.
